Generations Ashe

The senior center is a Senior Center of Excellence deemed by the North Carolina Division of Aging and Adult Services. 

We provide a ray of activities and services that include fine arts, music and dance, health and wellness, special events, lifelong learning, volunteer opportunities and trips. Services we provide are, transportation, Senior Health Insurance Information Program, Legal Aid of NC, VITA Tax Aid Program, Information and Assistance and Best Value Hearing. We provide a nutritious meal at lunch with no charge to those over 60 but do accept donations. We also provide Home Delivered Meals to those who are mostly homebound or cannot cook for themselves.

The senior center is open to the public. Membership is free of charge but we also accept donations. Some activities do have a small cost to them. We are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 5:00 pm with some evening activities.

We are always ready to welcome opportunities to promote the overall health and well-being needs of our communities' older adults.
