Nancy Weaver-Hoffman, an 8th generation Ashe Countian, shepherd, and community activist, aims to address classism and division in the community as an Ashe County Commissioner. Recognizing the impact of the "haves and have-nots," she advocates for inclusive decision-making and creative solutions to ensure every voice is heard.

​Ann is a resilient individual with a background in nursing and farming who transitioned from a career in healthcare to community development. Currently spearheading the revitalization of Lansing, NC, through a nonprofit she founded, Ann balances farming, livestock raising, and memoir writing in her commitment to personal growth and community enrichment.

For far too long we have had officials that simply do not represent the community nor do they identify with the problems our community faces. It is time we change that, and I can do that with your help! I want to turn the focus to real problems we face such as housing, jobs, healthcare options, etc.
