Ashe County Habitat For Humanity

Ashe County Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization that works in partnership with the people of Ashe County to eliminate substandard housing by building safe, affordable, decent housing with families in need. 

Habitat selects partner families based on housing need, ability to pay a mortgage, and willingness to partner. Families contribute "sweat equity", learn budgeting and finance, as well as home maintenance skills. 

Ashe Habitat currently builds one house per year, and welcomes volunteers to work on the jobsite and in the ReStore. No experience necessary!
