Ashe Food Pantry
Ashe Food Pantry plays a crucial role in addressing community needs by providing essential food assistance. The pantry serves as a vital resource for individuals and families facing food insecurity in the Ashe County area.
With a focus on ensuring that no one goes hungry, Ashe Food Pantry offers a variety of food items to those in need. Through its dedicated efforts, the pantry contributes to fostering a stronger and more resilient community by addressing the fundamental requirement of access to nutritious food.
Requirements: In order to be a client of the Ashe Food Pantry, the client must provide a photo I.D. during their initial visit. If the I.D. does not have an Ashe County address, another proof of residency is required such as a phone bill, power bill, doctor bill, or lease. In order to pick up food for another person, the pick-up person would need to present themselves the first time with their photo I.D. They would then be qualified and added to the roster of clients. On subsequent visits food could be released with a written directive from the person requesting their food to be picked up.
