Oak Grove Village

Oak Grove Village contains 30 units of family and large family affordable housing, primarily in townhouse duplex style.  Two units are single family, one story, fully outfitted for handicapped accessibility and contain 2 bedrooms.  The remaining units comprise 18 two bedroom, 8 three bedroom duplex apartments and 2 four bedroom single family apartments.  Common amenities include a tot lot, a playground and walking trails.  An on-site management office, community meeting room, computer-equipped training room and maintenance facility serve this development.

The 8 acre site is in  Jefferson, NC.  The duplex apartments are scattered on a wooded hillside with generous buffers between buildings and the existing residential neighborhood.

All units have Project Based Section 8 Vouchers from NRHA, ensuring that residents pay no more than 30% of their adjusted family income or pay the minimum rent of $50 per month.  All residents are required to participate in FSS
