High Country Area Agency on Aging

High Country Area Agency on Aging is the central hub for resources and support for older adults in the North Carolina High Country. Through our direct services and provider network, we offer home- and community-based solutions, family caregiver support, a long-term care ombudsman, advocacy, and health promotion and disease prevention classes.  Located in Boone, this agency serves seven counties including Alleghany, Ashe, Avery, Mitchell, Watauga, Wilkes, and Yancey.
