Ashe Really Cares Food Pantry, operating with an income-based qualification system, collaborates with Second Harvest in Winston-Salem to enhance its support capabilities. Individuals seeking to determine their eligibility can visit the pantry in person from Monday to Friday between 9 AM and 3 PM, with a brief closure from 12 PM to 1 PM.

Food Pantry

Ashe Really Cares is partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank, Ashe Baptist Association, and donors from all over to provide perishable and non-perishable food for our neighbors in need. The food pantry is available appointment only. For neighbors who are unable to meet an appointment time, additional resources are available in pre-built boxes that include pantry staples. This option is available once a month. It is not a requirement to call ahead but is still encouraged as this option is first come first serve and varies based on products on hand at that time.

Clothing Pantry

Neighbors who qualify have access to quality clothing, accessories, blankets, and a variety of household items. The clothing pantry is available once a month per household. There is no appointment necessary. The clothing pantry check in is from 9-11:30 and 1:-2:30. An item limit is set per household is based on available inventory to ensure everyone has access to shop.
