Blue Ridge Opportunities Commission

The mission of the Blue Ridge Opportunities Commission is to serve as an advocate with the community to seek out, identify and eliminate poverty in the service area.  Help people help themselves by providing services, advocacy,  and support for persons so they can become self- sufficient, thus, improving the quality of their lives, and providing greater opportunities for their families.

• Electric Assistance

• Heating fuel in the winter

• Crises food assistance

• Prescription assistance
