Nancy Yamashita grew up in Los Angeles, CA. She has been living in North Carolina for almost 30 years and in Ashe County for 12 years. She lives with Mike, her husband of 37 years, and their son. Nancy loves the outdoors, whether that’s hiking, camping, or just sitting in her hammock on the back deck. She also enjoys traveling, reading, and Scrabble.
 
Giving back to her community has always been important to Nancy. She feels the DWA and the ACDP are the best ways to do this.
