HQ Volunteer Training & Refresher
We are entering an exciting time for Democrats & friendly, unaffiliated voters. The upcoming mid-term races are critical for us to win. To that end, we are opening HQ doors several more days a week through Election Day, Nov. 3rd. During that time voters will be coming to find out about candidates, pick up candidate literature, sign up to volunteer for all the opportunities we have lined up, ask questions, or just wanting to talk to like-minded people. Let’s give them this opportunity by being available.
We are looking for lots of volunteers to work 2-hour shifts at HQ on different days & times. Come learn how HQ works. Please sign up for a training or if you just need a refresher.
For more information, please contact Nancy Yamashita. THANK YOU

A Little About Us
We are The Democratic Women of Ashe County, NC
Our vision for our beloved Ashe County (whether by birth or by choice) is for Ashe County to be recognized as a place where forward thinking women are empowered and find community; where progressive political ideas are openly discussed and promoted; where government works for all people of the county; and where at least 50% of elected offices are held by women.
Achievement of our vision will require courage, commitment, and thoughtful action. Our focus is on establishing and strengthening relationships with a diverse and all-inclusive array of individuals and organizations throughout Ashe County and the State. We seek to diminish division and instead focus on commonalities and shared concerns.
Our goal is to create a strong foundation for collaboration and change. We are eager to learn and to educate; to propose solutions; and to promote activism and engagement.
